Defective Recreational Products

Litigating for Safer Recreational Products

Accidents can happen when using playground equipment or riding a bike, but when the accidents are a result of defective recreational products, we get involved. As products liability attorneys at the Girardi | Keese law firm, we work to make products safer.

The first step we take to make products safer is to hold the makers of unsafe products accountable for the injuries their negligence has caused. In addition to litigation, we work with consumer advocates and California and at a national level to assure product safety.

Tell Your Story to a Product Liability Lawyer

We hear the story far too often, when product defects happen, real people suffer. For more than 40 years, our product liability attorneys have fought passionately for the rights of the innocent and injured. Please contact us online or call (213) 997-0211 to speak with one of our experienced product liability litigators.

Recreational product defects cause injuries that were avoidable.

Lots of injuries happen in recreational activities. Playing tag or racing to reach first base before the ball gets there can cause an injury. But there are times when a recreational product defect causes an injury.

Take monkey bars, for example. Design of the monkey bars and installation are carefully regulated. The height of the bars and the ground materials, the thickness of the sand pit and rubber padding should all meet specific, well-defined standards. All playground equipment should be designed and installed to prevent serious injuries.

Bicycles, tricycles, go-carts and other riding toys should be designed with safety in mind. Go-cart seats should not slide out, for example, and the carts should have roll bars. When a bike injury or a go-cart accident injury is caused by a product defect, the accident deserves the attention of a personal injury lawyer who knows how to investigate the accident with attention to product defects.

If you are dealing with a personal injury case that involves a possible recreational product defect, contact us. We represent clients in California and nationally.
